Carol McGarity- Gym Manager

Josh Petty- Boys Head Coach: Josh is 22 years old from Olathe, KS. He competed gymnastics from 1995-2002 and ended his training as a class 2/level 9 gymnast. He was a KU yell leader from 2007-2008. He has worked with LGA for four years as boy’s team head coach and is a USAG safety certified men’s coach. He is currently a Mechanical Engineer student at the University of Kansas.

  Jenn Pogge – Optional Girls Coach: Jenn is 21 years old from Lawrence, KS. She competed as a gymnast for ten years and joined the LGA coaching staff in 2006. She coaches our optional team girls level 7-9. Jenn is currently a student at the University of Kansas.

Ashley Sakumura – Level 6 Girls Coach and Instructor: Ashley is a senior at the University of Kansas studying speech pathology. She is 21 years old and from Lawrence, KS. She competed at LGA for 12 years and has coached with us for 5 years. She has experience with level 4-6, preschool, and Rec. classes. Currently she coaches future stars and is Level 6 head coach.

Jenny Hunt – Level 4 and 5 Team Coach.   Jenny has been a coach at LGA for almost two years. She coached Level 3 from 2009-2010 and currently coaches level 4 and 5 team. When Jenny coaches, she most enjoys helping the kids overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. Jenny enjoys drawing and reading, and is currently a student at the University of Kansas.

Jessica Williams – Girls Level 4 &5 Team Coach & Class Instructor: Jessica Williams was born April 30, 1989 and is from Lawrence. She competed through level 8 and trained level 9. Jessica also competed three years of high school gymnastics. She has been with LGA for over four years and currently coaches Rec. classes and level 5 girls.
